As July reaches its close, it can feel like summer is slipping right out of our hands. But before you panic, remember that our time isn’t up yet. We might have to worry about classes and grades soon, but until then, there’s still plenty to do. Here’s what you should cross off your summer bucket list before school starts.
Have A Boat Day
What’s better than feeling the breeze in your hair and the wind in your face while you lounge on a boat deck in a cute bikini? It’s like being at the pool, except 1000x better.
Visit The Zoo
Chances are that you have a zoo in your city that you’ve never bothered checking out. But don’t underestimate how fun a day trip to the zoo can be. It’s the kind of giddy, childlike fun I’ve always associated with summertime.
See A Drive-In Movie
If you’re really taking the Americana Summer vibe seriously, you can’t let summer pass you by without seeing a drive-in movie. It’s also the perfect romantic date idea for this time of year.
Have A Picnic
Get a group of girlfriends together and have a potluck-style picnic. You can dress up, eat yummy food, and take cute pictures to look back on forever.
Go On A Road Trip
You don’t need fancy first-class tickets to a foreign country to see something new — just a car, a full tank, and some snacks. You never know what nearby hidden gems you’ve been sleeping on all this time.
Visit A Waterpark
Some of my best summer memories are from visiting waterparks. Riding roller coasters down waterfalls, tubing down waterslides, watching dolphins dance … there’s nothing better.
