Sometimes, life’s just not it. Whether it’s school stress, drama, or one of those Sunday

afternoon days where everything just sucks, there’s nothing like a good movie to bring you back to life. These are my personal favorites—the ones that make me laugh or cry in the best way, and remind me that love, laughter is the best medicine.

1. Legally Blonde

Elle Woods taught me that pink is powerful, and underestimated girls always win. This is

hands down my favorite motivational movie. It shows me that you can totally embrace your

feminine side and still be ambitious and unstoppable. Hard work is everything, and Elle’s

journey from heartbreak to Harvard is always the reminder I need to strive for my best self. It's an instant boost of confidence.

2. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

The outfits and the chemistry?? Ugh, it’s perfection. Also, Matthew McConaughey. I'm

obsessed. I think the yellow dress scenes have their own fandom at this point. This movie is

chaotic in the best way. I live for the storyline and the fact that both characters are equally

ridiculous.

3. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

It is sweet, soft, and full of teenage feelings wrapped up in a few hours. It’s definitely one of the cringiest rom-coms out there and that’s exactly why I love it. Lara Jean’s awkwardness, Peter Kavinsky’s charm, the love letters—it's adorable, it’s my absolute comfort movie.

4. Mamma Mia

I absolutely love ABBA songs + Greek islands + Meryl Streep, it's such a serotonin

overload. I sing my heart out, cry a little, and dance like no one’s watching. It’s the kind of

feel-good energy we all need sometimes (or always). I love watching this with my mom and

feeling a rollercoaster of emotions.

5. Crazy Rich Asians

Best. movie. ever. And yes, it’s my go-to airplane movie every time. From the glitzy Singapore skyline to the amazing couture. But let’s talk about the wedding scene. As soon as the water starts flowing down the aisle like a literal river of love, I already have water in my eyes. The music, the emotion, the way Nick looks at Rachel? CHILLS. Every. Single. Time. Im manifesting that so hard.
