Sundays are sacred for healing. It’s the moment to pause, reset, and romanticize your routine. For me, Sunday resets are seen as rituals of self-respect. Whether you're juggling classes, side hustles, jobs, or just keeping it together—this is your permission to slow down and realign.
1. Clean Room
A cluttered space often leads to a cluttered mind, so before you dive into your self-care routine, take a moment to tidy up. I start by making my bed, clearing my desk, and organizing therandom piles of clothes in the corner of my room. When your space is neat, you create room for other things like clarity and peace.
Plus, a clean room is like a blank slate for your thoughts. It makes me feel so much lighter
because everything is in its place. I love putting up my favorite playlist or podcast to make it
more fun.
2. Meal Plan
Healthy eating starts with planning! While you scroll through TikTok or Pinterest, get inspired by simple, healthy recipes that you can prepare for the week ahead. Think about healthy salads, protein-packed bowls, and the other viral meals you see.
Meal planning is all about making your future self’s life easier. It’s a perfect way to stay
energized throughout the week and make sure you have a balanced meal everyday.
3. Self Care
Self-care is an absolute necessity every week. Take time to treat yourself to a hair mask, book that nails appointment, and just relax. When you look good, you feel good—and when you feel good, you show up better for the week ahead.
Whether it’s a deep conditioning treatment or just some quiet time with your favorite face mask and candle, focus on replenishing your energy and confidence. These little rituals are perfect for resetting your mind and setting a positive tone for the week. I love lighting a little candle while I take a bath or do a face mask.
4. Journal
The Sunday Reset isn’t complete without a little journaling. Take a moment to reflect on the
week past and jot down any thoughts or feelings that are lingering in your mind. Use this as a
time to release any negativity and focus on gratitude. I like to focus on all the things that made me feel overwhelmed that week and how I can change it moving forward.
Then, I grab your planner and write down your goals for the week ahead. Whether it's work,
school, or personal goals, having a clear vision of what’s to come will give you a fresh mindset and a sense of control. I also like to write down a few things I am excited about this week and what I want to work on.
